Performing at the elite level for more than a decade, Angie recognised that it is the mind that determines how well we perform on any given day, particularly on competition day. Angie began undergraduate training to become a sports psychologist, however failed the end of year statistics exam twice. As this was not the type of psychological approach she had in mind, she chose another major to complete a BA in Arts. Continuing her quest, Angie pursued a post-graduate Diploma in Adult Psychotherapy, which included a compulsory criteria of several hundred hours of personal psychotherapy. She has been working as a psychotherapist in private practice for twenty years.
